Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to identify the structural characteristics of the interorganizational network for the elderly welfare service. The structural characteristics of a network are identified through interorganizational network activities such as resource exchange, interaorganiational agreement, client referral, sharing resources. And it was analyzed with node, link, isolated node, average degree, density, centrality(degree, closeness, betweenness), and structural hole. The results are as follows.
The elderly welfare service organizations are shown to have, so far, established passive network as they concentrate on carrying such activities: information interchange, interorganizational agreement, client referral, sharing resources. It is necessary to improve the network level using organization located in the network’s central structure. Those organizations in a central structure need appropriate functions and roles. It needs to provide a differentiated strategy to establish an interorganizational network for the elderly welfare service.
